R.A.L.E. Lung Sounds 3.0 is a computer aided instructional program for students and educators, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and anyone who uses a stethoscope. Recordings from children and adults demonstrate wheezes, crackles, stridor and other respiratory sounds. Case studies include asthma, bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, croup, fibrosing alveolitis and other pulmonary diseases. R.A.L.E. provides the opportunity to examine lung sounds in a controlled and reproducible environment. A large number of quiz cases allows self assessment. The program uses any Windows compatible 16-bit sound card. Headphones or HiFi audio speakers are recommended.
