Random Verse Lab is an experimental piece of software created as a tool to help write poetry. Think of it as a combined notepad and thesaurus. The idea of RVL is that you can create templates for poems by specifying where you want verbs, nouns etc to appear and then let RVL generate you a poem. If you don't like the result then you can modify the template or change the list of words that RVL uses to create the poem.The results are often very peculiar and usually very silly but they are always inspirational. The best way to find out about RVL is to download a copy and try for yourself! Remember an RVL poem is only as good as the words it has to work with and the template you give it. RVL is Freeware.
